Block MP3 playback

Hi I need help.
Last evening, while he was running an mp3 file with text, at some point it left off
with the slide bar that came suddenly to an end.
This thing has already happened to two other times in the last month.
How do I solve this problem?
I own a Macbook Pro with HD solid state, which is dedicated solely to this,
therefore are things that should not happen.
