Difficulty searching for files in QMidi

Hello --

I have QMidi v 2.5.8, and I keep my karaoke files on an external hard drive.  I'm having some difficulty searching in QMidi for karaoke tracks that I know for certain are on the hard drive, because I've checked the hard drive directly.  I've tried re-indexing the drive, but that didn't help.  Any advice or suggestions?

Try this: locate one "missing karaoke file" in the Finder and drag it in the sidebar of the library. Select the added file and choose the contextual menu "show in library". If the result file is listed twice, your file was already there.
