Does it occurs with every file? MIDI? AUDIO?

OK, found the issue. Immediate workaround: just SAVE your work before exporting.
I'll fix this in version 2.8.0.4. Thanks for reporting.

thank you for you fast reply - great.

I try to make a karaoke video from a normal mp3. I have tested some mp3 files and get the same problem. Everything worked fine until I try to export the video, every option (VGA, SD,etc.) causes the same problem.
Just downloaded an older version of qmidi and it works fine again.
