External monitor over WiFi

Does anyone here knows how to connect an external device such ad an iPhone, an Android tablet or similar to a Mac over WiFi and use it as a second monitor?
I have used iDisplay but is no longer working.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi, I use Duet Display and it works very well.

I Use Idisplay and it still works. Whats not working with yours?
I dont really like IDisplay but its the only one that I could find.

I remember iDisplay working good except for getting laptop very hot, making the fan spin a lot. I've used it with a 2012 Macbook pro then trashed it for that reason
