Insert accents in midi file

Good morning everyone,
I inserted some lyrics on a midi file but if I try to play it through my keyboard (Korg pa1000) I see strange characters instead of of accents.
I tried to insert the accent also as an apostrophe but it doesn't work.
I tried to save both as midi 0 and as original midi (indicating channel 4 as the one of the text).
I saved both as unicode and in the UTF-8 format ... nothing ...
Can you help me out?

Send me a working file (in which there are accents recognized by your keyboard) so we can understand which is the right encoding to use.
