No. MacOS apps don’t run on iPads yet. Not without an extensive rewrite.
However, as the iPad line moves over to M1 chips and Apple silicon, there’s no real reason that Apple can’t allow all iPad apps to run on MacOS computers and Vice versa. Except, of course, that Apple seem dead set against this, at least MacOS apps running on iPads. Probably want to protect their laptop sales….
I too would absolutely LOVE an iPad QMIDI as I hate the whole ‘laptop on stage’ thing when performing.
Combine this with a ‘Marker’ system where you could repeat sections or jump around the structure of a song (and the lyrics follow along) using on screen buttons or MIDI commands and I think you have the PERFECT performing solution. 🎹😎
