MIDIKIT - How to change the canal of an instrument

lolo
Hello everybody, I am a new user of MidiKit, and I am a beginner in the MIDI file. I have a yamaha disklavier acoustic piano. The disklavier system allows to let the piano play by himself by reading a midi file. I have bought a midi file on the german site Geerdes (XF Midi, SMF-0, I think the right file for yamaha) : song "November rain" from Guns n roses. When I launch it on my piano, the track starts, but no sound :( Yamaha support told me that's because the acoustic piano, must be on the canal 1, what is not the case in my midi file. My question is : how can I change the canal of an instrument in MidiKit ? Many thanks for your help ! Laurent (France)
