QMIDI command line (terminal mode) options

richguyon
Can QMIDI be run in terminal mode from a command line or through Applescript to take a MIDI file name and export a .WAV file (or .MP3 file)?

However, I could add a batch export function in v3

Very kind of you to suggest this, but batch processing is not the intended usage.
I have a web application that creates a WAV or MP3 from a MIDI based on customizations provided by the user (this is to create customized practice files for my singing chorus). I currently use TiMidity++ but the instrument sound quality from QMIDI is so superior that I'm looking for ways to replace TiMidity. But TiMidity is the only app I have found that can be invoked from a web script to act on a file and then create an output file.
thx anyway.
