Selectable midi output for each playlist

It would be really cool if the playlists had a dropdown menu where you could select a specific midi output for that list of files and even have the ability to store it in the playlist, it would make it much easier to switch between various hardware synths and organise files depending on the MT, GM, GS and XG standard :)

this is still high up on my wishlist :)

I have a bunch of old midi modules connected to different midi outputs, I would love to be able to save the correct MIDI playback device as part of the playlist. Something like this, simply mirroring the list from Audio/MIDI settings:
