Songs not resetting properly.

Hi Bruno,

I sent you an email this morning saying that certain songs are not playing the correct instruments when I'm using my Roland SC 8850 in the latest version.  The old version was perfect but with this latest version, every so often selects the wrong instruments. I have Selected GM, GS and XG from preferences individually, and also selected all three but it doesn’t seem to help. The other  thing is that it doesn’t always do it. Its very random. I also went back to the older version today and it works perfectly.

I have also just noticed that some songs, after it ends, also intermittently,  will hold the last note.... This will keep playing a note after it has stopped playing untill I start playing the next song.... Very strange but only happens in the latest version

Hello Claude,

QMidi v2.5 uses two players (A and B) in order to allow the new preload and crossfade features.

So be sure to set player A and B to different destinations. The SC88 must be configured as two completely separate devices.

Thanks for that but Im not sure I have it wired the same way. I come out of my USB of my laptop with a Roland UM-ONE midi Interface, then from the midi cable, I plug into the SC8850. Is there a better way to wire it up???
