Sound Fonts

kennybhoy
I need help. How do I assign individual sound fonts against the appropriate midi patch and have it show up in Q Midi Pro. I am on a Mac running El Capitan? Please help. I am so confused between individual sound fonts and Sound banks and how to create all of this so I can have an increased range of instrument sounds.

Hello,

The DLS synth requires a GM compatible SoundFont file. It does not support multiple individual soundfonts.
To install a new GM/GS SoundFont, copy it in the (home)/Library/Audio/Sounds/Banks/ folder.
Clicking the "Show Folder" button in the DLS Synth Window reveals this directory.
