Split Words and Joined Words

Would it be possible to do a partial 'split word'/'whole line' option?

For the body of the lyrics, split word works well. But if you add instructions ('4 bars rest', '8 bars solo', or song title and key, etc. at the start), they would be better displayed as whole line highlights.

Currently, when you have highlighted just a section of text, if you do a 'split words' on it, the ENTIRE body of text gets split. Same with 'join words'.

Would it be possible to do split/join on only the highlighted sections?

Hi, it can be done. you must select, in the synchronization window, all the syllables of the word and assign it the same synchronization point of the first syllable. in this way the word will light up simultaneously.

This is a lot more work than simply selecting which text is split and which is joined, but it's good that it CAN be done.
