Synced lyrics don't scroll

norhoule
Recently I noticed that synced lyrics of some songs don't scroll as they used to be.

So I did the test with the same song (copy of the song)

I tested the same song on my MacBook Air Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7 Qmidi 2.9.2
and on my
Imac mac OS High Sierra 10.13.6.  QMidi 2.9.2

On my iMac  everything is ok; the synced lyrics scroll perfectly.
On my MacBook Air the scrolling stop at the bottom of the page and doesn't want to go further.

Solution ?

Hello Paul,

I should be able to reproduce the bug to help you...
If only some songs have this problem, send me a couple of samples.

Are you working full screen?
Are both karaoke and mirror windows involved?
Is the "Karaoke > Line scroll" menu activated?

Thanks Bruno, once again you saved the day.
The ''Karaoke - Line scroll'' menu was activated.

I dont know why it was activated but in future I’ll know what to do.

I have tried different songs with the Line sroll disactivated and everything works fine.
With the Line scroll activated some song scroll line by line and some other stop scrolling at the bottom of the page.

Anyway  it works great for me with the Line scroll disactivated.

But I just found the cause why some songs stop scrolling at the bottom of the page.
When I started to use Qmidi a couple of years ago I was putting the chords on top of lyrics(with a smaller font) like a song book.
Much easier to follow in a live situation; the drawback was when you wanted to transpose, the chords would the stay the same.
Now I use the chords sync
It’s with some of those songs that the problem appears if the line scroll is activated, and not all of them.
I’ll keep investigating.

Thanks for the tips

Grazie mille.

Paul
