Unused Track status problem

When some [not all] files are opened they will show unused tracks[channels] as grayed out.

Then when file is played, some of the grayed out channels are actually playing.
And the meter shows activity.

This is the normal behavior: even if the channel contains MIDI events but NO MIDI program changes, the patch name is grayed.
