Window position not saved

musicadi
Hi Bruno,

I just have a situation where I needed to move the library window partially off-screen, to hide the column before the "Name", where the playing state is shown.

My problem is that every time I quit Qmidi and restart it, the library window moves to the default position (the left end of the screen).

Also, the position of the chord/text divider is not remembered, every time I quit and restart Qmidi, it moves to its default position. Note: Lyrics text size is set to auto... I think this problem was not there when the lyrics text size was fixed.

Saluti,
Adrian

The preferences file may be corrupted / unwritable.

Run this application to fix your home directory privileges:
http://faqintosh.com/risorse/it/sys/rhp/

If this does not work, follow these steps to reset:

Restart your computer.
Open the terminal and type the following lines:
rm ~/Library/Preferences/com.mixage.qmidi2.plist
rm ~/Library/Preferences/com.mixage.qmidipro.plist
Launch QMidi

Ah, thank you!

I actually had a few times where all preferences were restored to default, so yes it must be the preferences file

Will try the app you sent me and use the mentioned steps, if this shouldn't work

Cheers,
Adrian

I don't think this is related to QMidi. Googling "monitored resource vanished before the source cancel handler was invoked" produces a lot of results...
