karaoke midi files

hi one and all, question, i have a bunch of karaoke files which i want to change to a key suitable for my voice, so far i havnt been able to find software that will not only change the pitch, but also to save the lyrics too, anyone have any ideas.hope ive explained that ok

I suppose you mean you need to change the chords also?!

You can do that with Qmidi, although I can't remember if you can leave midi channels out, so that drums won't get transposed also.

Load the file, then in the menu, go to Player - Pitch up / Pitch down - use that as many times as you need to get your right pitch.

Then go to File - Export current... choose MIDI for the file format, location and then hit Save
