Routing audio to ch1+2 then MIDI to ch 3+4

Tau
I own a Scarlett 2i4 with 4 output (2 stereo couple).
How can I send the audio output to channel 1&2 while a MIDI sequence is played on channel 3&4? I've googled a lot without founding any solution.

I've created a Metronome midi part for my drummer, now I would like to send him a dedicated channel using my 4 channel sound card and the Qmidi ability to play audio and midi in synch.

Thank you.

There's actually no way to redirect the DLSSynth output channels. This is a good feature request :-)

If you link your MIDI file and use it as a master/conductor track, the QMidi click will follow it. QMidi click, in turn can be routed on any channel:

Is it possible to use two instances of the DLS Synth?

If not, perhaps you can run another barebones synth app or drum app, and route the click MIDI to that program?

That would be useful in other scenarios too. For example sending midi and audio to 2 different mixer channels for different EQ or FX
